Hello!
Hi all
Finally the world cup is over and I can break out of the spell that has bound me to my tv set for the past month and a half odd to start my own blog, and so here we are. This blog is just going to be random things from here, there and practically everywhere. To start with, this year's world cup turned out to be one of the biggest roller-coaster rides ever. I started out with brazil being my favourites for the title. But after watching the argentina vs serbia-montenegro game with the oh-so-ethereal 24-pass goal, it seemed almost obvious that argentina would be in the final. Then along came germany and shattered the argentine dream (but you have to hand it to klinsmann and his guys, they played one helluva match - if they remain in such form for the next two years, the euro '08 cup is so theirs). So I finally had my bets on germany (that miroslav 'golden shoe' klose is one mean striker), brazil and england (well, england for no special reason except that they had some of the nicest looking dudes) - but hey! italy and france played the final. So much for rationality....
Anyway, even apart from the wc being a fizzle out, life is pretty much going haywire. I am going to enter college next month and I am going nuts thinking about it. But more on that later.
As of now, adios, amigos.

Guess who!
Anyhow, here I am! The first person to comment! Do I get some kind of chocolate-y food item for this?
Back on topic, welcome to the blogging world! I created an account here just so I could comment, I don't think I'm going to be posting here, unless I later decide to x-post here or something. LJ will always be my one and only. ^_~
For now, anyway.
Was I the only person to be supporting Germany and France since the beginning? Although I found it unlikely that either of them would win, I thought it was more likely than dear old Italia. I think I was nearly in tears near the end of the final. *sigh* It's hard to see your team almost, but not quite, make it.
Oh well, what do I know.
See ya later! I'll be watching this space.
